When life is Bananas, we make delicious Banana Cream Pie out of it! Make a batch of simple to make no bake Banana Cream Pie and keep in the fridge for a fast protein packed breakfast in the mornings.
2 bananas (1 to blend, 1 to slice)
2 scoops of Creamy Vanilla Complete Whey Protein Powder
1 package of cream cheese or 1 cup of thick Greek plain yogurt
3 Tablespoons of xylitol or maple syrup for sweetness
dash of ceylon cinnamon
Whip these 3 ingredients together for optional whipped cream topping:
1 cup of Heavy Cream
3 Tablespoons of xylitol or maple syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract
Blend 1 banana into a package of cream cheese or cup of thick Greek yogurt.
Add 2 scoops of Creamy Vanilla Complete Whey Protein in, continue to blend.
Add 3 Tablespoons of xylitol (a low glycemic index sweetener) or maple syrup for added sweetness. Use less or more to your taste.
Pour into glass serving bowls or glass jars.
Slide banana slices down sides of glass so they surround the blended mixture.
Top with whipped cream.
Garnish with Vanilla Wafers, raw walnuts, fresh mint or your favorite nuts!
Sprinkle a dash of Ceylon Cinnamon on top.
This recipe made 4 full servings. Keep in the fridge in glass jars with lids for an easy protein packed snack, a delicious dessert or yummy breakfast.
