This pie was so good! We made a decadent chocolate cream pie made with Complete Paleo Protein in the delicious chocolate flavor. This recipe has no added sugar. We used low-glycemic zero calorie monk fruit and dried dates for the sweeteners. This rich and creamy dessert or snack will fill you up and leave you satiated without feeling guilty because all of the ingredients used are great for your body!
Blend ingredients for crust and press into a pie pan:
1 cup of pecan flour or pecan bits blended
1 cup of softened dried dates (dates add a rich caramel flavoring)
1 cup of melted coconut oil
dash of Ceylon Cinnamon
dash of Himalayan Sea Salt
Blend ingredients for chocolate cream filling:
1 can of coconut cream (we used Trader Joe's brand)
3 scoops of Complete Paleo Protein in the delicious chocolate flavor
1 cup of 100% unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4 Tablespoons of Monk Fruit sweetener
Set crust by pressing into a pie pan. Sprinkle with Ceylon Cinnamon and Himalayan Sea Salt.
Pour Blended filling over pie crust. Sprinkle with a bit more Himalayan Sea Salt.
Set in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.
