Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream / Chocolate Mousse September 1, 2016 17:23
This is one of our favorite recipes so far! A dessert that's good for you!
Blend all ingredients with a hand blender & place in a glass container.
For ice cream, place in freezer overnight.
For chocolate mousse, place in refrigerator overnight.
1 can of Chilled Coconut Cream
1/2 cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup of Complete Whey Protein Powder in the Delicious Chocolate Flavor*
1 tsp. of Vanilla Extract
3 Tbsp. of Xylitol (we used a mortar & pestle to grind into a fine powder)
if desired: sprinkle with Himalayan Sea Salt
This recipe is high in protein, full of antioxidants, good fats & has no added sugar!
