We love experimenting in the RawWheyProtein.com kitchen and coming up with delicious and nutritious recipes! Here's a tasty summer treat for you and your loved ones:
Homemade Neapolitan Protein Popsicles
For the berry layer blend these ingredients:
1/2 cup organic strawberries
1/4 cup of raspberries
1/4 cup of pitted cherries
1/4 cup of pure Cranberry juice
1 cup of Coconut Cream (we like Trader Joe's brand)
1 Tbsp. of Xylitol (for added sweetness)
1 Scoop of Complete Whey Protein in the Creamy Vanilla Flavor
For the Vanilla Layer blend these ingredients:
1 cup of Coconut Cream
1 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup
1 tsp. of Vanilla extract
1 Scoop of Complete Whey Protein in the Creamy Vanilla Flavor
For the Rich Chocolate Layer blend these ingredients:
2 Tbsp. of Almond Butter
2 Tbsp. of 100% Cocoa Powder
2 Tbsp. of Xylitol
1 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup
a dash of Himalayan Sea Salt
1/2 cup of Coconut Cream
1 scoop of Complete Pea Protein in the Delicious Chocolate Flavor
Pour each layer into popsicle molds on top of each other and freeze overnight!
The recipes can easily double as nutritious shakes if you desire!
The best part of these pops is that they have no added sugar, are full of healthy antioxidants from fresh berries and cocoa and are filled with good fats and high quality proteins making them not only a tasty treat but really good for your bodies!
