In honor of National Ice Cream Day we are enjoying these cool nutritious treats!

Homemade Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Popsicles

Blend together & chill overnight in popsicle molds. If you don't have popsicle molds, use an ice cube tray for smaller snacks. We filled fun shaped ice cube trays with our protein batter. You can find fun shaped ice cube trays at almost any store these days. Just fill with the protein batter and freeze overnight!

For the Vegan Recipe:

1/2 cup of Creamy Peanut Butter (if you don't like peanut butter or have allergies you can always substitute almond butter, cashew butter or any nut butter of your choice!)

1 can of Coconut Cream (We like Trader Joe's)

2 scoops (approx. 1/2 cup) of Complete Pea Protein in the Delicious Chocolate flavor

1/2 cup of 100% Cacao (we used Hershey's)

3 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup for added sweetness

For the Paleo Recipe:

1/2 cup of Creamy Peanut Butter

1 cup of Greek Yogurt

2 scoops (approx. 1/2 cup) of Complete Paleo Protein in the Delicious Chocolate flavor or Complete Whey Protein Delicious Chocolate Flavor

1/2 cup of 100% Cacao

3 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup for added sweetness

Note: For the marbled effect on the pops, drop in bits of peanut butter into the chocolate protein batter when filling the popsicle molds!

These pops are full of healthy fats, antioxidants and muscle building protein! They make a great snack, dessert or breakfast!
