Every recipe can be modified for a healthier version so that we are able to reach our weight loss goals while satisfying those cravings for sweets.
It might be hard for some of us to resist buying those Girl Scout Cookies on the way in or out of the grocery store on an impulse buy.
Well, we've got the solution for you! A healthier version of your favorite boxed cookie! Here's a completely vegan recipe below:
No Bake Homemade Samoa Cookies that are so simple to make!
Ingredients:
1 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut
10 pitted Medjool dates
1 scoop of vanilla Complete Pea Protein
1 Tbsp. of Xylitol for added sweetness
1 cup of dark chocolate
2 Tbsp. of Coconut oil
a dash of Himalayan sea salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan.
2. Blend the coconut, dates, Complete Pea Protein and xylitol and form the dough into round cookie circles on wax paper.
3. Drizzle the dark chocolate and coconut oil mixture over the cookies.
4. Sprinkle with sea salt.
5. Store in the fridge once the chocolate is dry.
