No Bake Lemon Cheesecake made with Raw Whey Protein!

How is the New Year treating everyone? We hope everyone is staying healthy this winter. To build immunity against the winter colds circulating, we mixed up a healthy dessert full of Vitamin C made with Complete Whey Protein and fresh lemons! 

Ingredients for our NO BAKE Lemon Cheesecake:

For Crust Blend these 2 ingredients:

1 cup (approximately 10) pitted Medjool dates

1 cup pecans (or your favorite raw nut such as walnuts, cashews, almonds)

Press gooey mixture flat into glass container. Sprinkle with Himalayan sea salt.

For filling, whip together:

Zest and juice of 5 lemons

1/2 cup of xylitol (low glycemic sweetener)

1 Tbsp. Maple Syrup

1 tsp. Vanilla extract

4 scoops of Unflavored Complete Whey Protein powder

2 packages of 8 oz. cream cheese

Once whipped, pour over the date and nut crust. Place in freezer overnight. Garnish with fresh lemon zest.

Why is protein so important to our health?
