Ice cold Lemon Creamsicles made with Complete Whey protein powder and fresh lemons!

Our Lemon Creamsicle Pops are so refreshing on a hot summer day! These ice cold treats are made with fresh lemon juice and our Whey Protein Powder. We love making treats that not only taste delicious but are also good for you too! Each pop is packed with Vitamin C and immunity building Whey Protein!

These treats are great for snacking, as an after dinner dessert or even for breakfast!

Blend these Ingredients:

1 -8 oz. package of cream cheese

1/2 cup of Greek yogurt

the juice of 4 fresh lemons

3 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup

1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract

2 scoops of Complete Whey Protein in the Creamy Vanilla Flavor

for a Vegetarian recipe substitute Complete Pea Protein in the creamy vanilla flavor

for a Paleo recipe substitute Complete Paleo Protein in the creamy vanilla flavor

Dalgona Coffee made with Delicious Chocolate Complete Paleo Protein!

We noticed that a lot of folks are trying their hand at a whipped sweet-tasting milky coffee treat that is trending known as Dalgona Coffee

Dalgona, or Ppopgi in Korean, means “honeycomb toffee” or "old fashioned sugar candy". It's a treat you can easily make yourself and it tastes delicious! Dalgona coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.

We had a lot of fun experimenting in the RawWheyProtein.com kitchen. We put a healthier spin on our version of Dalgona coffee by substituting xylitol (a low glycemic sweetener) instead of sugar and using coconut cream instead of milk. We kicked our recipe up a few notches by adding chocolate Complete Paleo Protein for a burst of mocha flavor and high quality beef-based protein!

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons of your favorite Instant Coffee, we used Nescafé

1 Tablespoon of Xylitol for added sweetness if you choose you can add more or less to your taste preferences

4 Tablespoons of hot water

2 Tablespoons of Complete Paleo Protein in the Delicious Chocolate Flavor

1 can of Organic Coconut Cream, we used Trader Joe's brand

Instructions:

Whip the instant coffee, xylitol, water and Paleo Protein powder with a whisk or use a hand blender until soft peaks are formed.

Pour over iced or warm coconut cream.

We tried several versions of Dalgona coffee with other ingredients such as our Vegan Creamy Vanilla Complete Pea Protein with a Matcha version for those of you who don't like coffee or chocolate and it was a delightful snack.

Try a Coconut Matcha Vegan Dalgona Treat made with Complete Pea Protein!

To make the Vanilla Matcha version:

Mix one Tablespoon of Matcha powder with 4 Tablespoons of hot water.

In a separate mug, mix 1 Tablespoon of Creamy Vanilla Complete Pea Protein

with coconut cream. 

Pour the steeped and thoroughly whisked Matcha and hot water mix over the Pea Protein and coconut cream mix. Add xylitol for sweetness to your taste preference.

These 2 delicious drinks make great snacks or breakfasts. The added Protein helps satiate your appetite so that your blood sugar stays even until lunch or your next meal.

Fresh end of summer pears blended with our high quality protein powders from RawWheyProtein.com!

We love making our smoothies with fresh fruits that are available each season. End of summer means fresh pears are ready to pick off the trees and are added directly into a delicious smoothie full of antioxidants, electrolytes and fiber.

Pears are a low-glycemic fruit that won't spike your blood sugar. They are full of electrolytes like copper and magnesium. Pears are also a great source of Vitamin C and Potassium!

To make our delicious Spiced Pear Ginger Smoothie blend these ingredients together:

3 ripe pears with seeds and stem removed

1 scoop of Creamy Vanilla Complete Whey Protein Powder

Dash of Ceylon Cinnamon

Dash of Himalayan Sea Salt

2 fresh or frozen apricots with pits removed (sub peaches if desired)

1 fresh or frozen banana

1 teaspoon of Freshly grated Ginger root

add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract if desired

sprinkle Cinnamon and extra grated ginger on top after blending

Typically when ice cream is thought of, so are the extra calories and additives associated with this frozen treat. Here's a "Nicer" Alternative to this comfort food that has nothing but good-for-you ingredients!

Strawberry Banana Coconut Nice Cream

Blend these ingredients and serve or store in the freezer after:

1 frozen banana

1 cup of fresh organic strawberries

4 oz. of Coconut Cream

1 scoop of Creamy Vanilla Complete Pea Protein

Nice Cream made with strawberries, banana, coconut and pea protein!

There are infinite ways to make Nice Cream. We used our Rich Chocolate Complete Paleo Protein in one variation which turned this treat into a berry chocolate combination perfect for an after workout cool down snack!

Blend and serve:

1 frozen banana

Homemade Samoa Cookies made with vanilla Complete Pea Protein!

It's that time of year where we are a couple of months into our New Years Resolutions and we are all trying to stay on track eating healthy.

Every recipe can be modified for a healthier version so that we are able to reach our weight loss goals while satisfying those cravings for sweets.

It might be hard for some of us to resist buying those Girl Scout Cookies on the way in or out of the grocery store on an impulse buy.

Well, we've got the solution for you! A healthier version of your favorite boxed cookie! Here's a completely vegan recipe below:

No Bake Homemade Samoa Cookies that are so simple to make!

Ingredients:

1 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut

10 pitted Medjool dates

1 scoop of vanilla Complete Pea Protein

1 Tbsp. of Xylitol for added sweetness

1 cup of dark chocolate

2 Tbsp. of Coconut oil

a dash of Himalayan sea salt

Instructions:

1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan.

2. Blend the coconut, dates, Complete Pea Protein and xylitol and form the dough into round cookie circles on wax paper. 

3. Drizzle the dark chocolate and coconut oil mixture over the cookies.

4. Sprinkle with sea salt.

5. Store in the fridge once the chocolate is dry.

No Bake Vegan Gingerbread Cookies made with Complete Pea Protein!

We want to wish everybody a Healthy and Happy Holiday season!

We are celebrating the holidays with a completely Vegan No Bake Gingerbread Cookie made with our Complete Pea Protein!

Ingredients:

2 scoops (about a 1/2 cup) of Complete Pea Protein in the Delicious Chocolate Flavor

1 cup of pitted Medjool dates (about 10 dates)

3 Tbsp. of freshly grated ginger root - Substitute dry ground ginger if you do not have the fresh root.

2 Tbsp. of Blackstrap Molasses

2 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup

1 cup of Almond Meal (We used Bob's Red Mill brand)

1 cup of Almond Butter (We used Trader Joe's brand)

2 Tbsp. of Ceylon Cinnamon

1/2 tsp. of Himalayan Sea Salt

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. of nutmeg

1/4 tsp. of allspice

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients in your blender or food processor until it forms a dough. Roll out flat onto a cutting board and then use a Gingerbread cookie cutter shape to make the cookies. We used the end of a spoon to make eyes and button indentions.  If your prefer a more simple cookie, you can always roll into balls. 

Chill in the fridge once all the cookies are cut.

Berry Yogurt Protein Pops

Happy 4th of July everybody! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day with family and friends! We are enjoying some homemade Berry Yogurt Protein Pops by the pool. These delicious treats were simple to make and are full of antioxidants, creamy Greek yogurt and muscle building whey protein!

Ingredients and Instructions:

Blend one scoop of Complete Whey Protein in the creamy vanilla flavor into one cup of plain Greek yogurt. 

If you prefer, substitute our Complete Pea Protein or Complete Paleo Protein in this recipe.

If you want the mix a little sweeter add a teaspoon of maple syrup or xylitol into the yogurt whey protein mix before filling popsicle molds.

Fill popsicle molds with fresh or frozen berries of your choice. We used frozen blueberries and strawberries. Pour the yogurt whey protein mix over the berries until popsicle molds are filled. 

Freeze overnight to enjoy the next day!

These pops make great snacks or breakfasts during summer time!

A Happy and Healthy Easter to everyone! We are enjoying healthier Easter Egg Candies made with Complete Whey Protein and Complete Pea Protein!

We are always striving to find recipes that not only taste great but also nourish our bodies with healthy ingredients!

We made 2 different types of Easter egg candies, one with a coconut whey protein filling and the other with an almond butter pea protein filling!

Ingredients for the Coconut Whey Protein filling:

2 cups of Shredded unsweetened coconut

2 scoops of Complete Whey Protein in the Creamy Vanilla Flavor

2 Tbsp. of melted coconut oil

2 Tbsp. of xylitol

2 Tbsp. of maple syrup

dash of Himalayan sea salt

Coconut Whey Protein Easter Eggs!

Ingredients for the Almond Butter Pea Protein filling:

1 cup of creamy Raw Almond Butter

2 scoops of Complete Pea Protein in the Creamy Vanilla Flavor

2 Tbsp. of xylitol

dash of of Ceylon Cinnamon

dash of Himalayan sea salt

Instructions:

Blend each recipe together and push into egg tray shapes.

Almond Butter Pea Protein Easter Eggs!

Place in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. While the eggs chill, melt a package of dark chocolate bits in a saucepan. Mix in a Tablespoon of coconut oil to make a glossy consistency.

Remove the eggs from the molding tray and dunk into the melted chocolate. Let eggs dry on a wire rack and garnish each egg with shredded coconut or almond bits to delineate the egg flavors.

Lemon Ginger Protein Chews

We got the inspiration for this delicious snack from a well known recipe called Switchel.

Switchel is an old Amish drink which is like their form of natural gatorade drank during haying made from lemon juice, ginger and turmeric. It’s full of antioxidants, electrolytes, boosts your immune system and helps control weight. It’s a very soothing and calming tea and helps your body relax and ready itself for sleep! We often drink this delicious beverage after dinner to help with digestion.

So we got to thinking, wouldn't this make a great base for a nutritious snack! It sure does! We added a bit of our Complete Whey Protein and raw nuts to make it a filling and delicious snack.

Lemon Ginger Protein Chews

Just blend the ingredients list and chill. This is a no-bake recipe. We do not heat any of our protein recipes. We rolled some of the batter into bite sized balls and we also pressed some into a dish and cut into squares.

1 cup of medjool dates pitted (we softened our dates in warm water before blending)

1 cup of oats

the juice and zest of 1 lemon

1 tsp. of turmeric powder

1 tsp. of ginger powder

1 cup of raw cashews

1 cup of raw almonds

1 cup (approx. 4 scoops) of Complete Whey Protein in the Creamy Vanilla Flavor

2 Tbsp. of Maple Syrup or Honey if you prefer

1/2 cup of melted coconut oil

a dash of Himalayan sea salt in the batter and on top of the squares or balls

Just press into a square dish once blended and chill for an hour.

To make this recipe completely vegan, substitute Complete Pea Protein for the whey protein. To make this recipe a paleo recipe, sub with Complete Paleo Protein.

Lemon Ginger Protein Chews

Here's the recipe for Switchel also known as Haymaker's Punch:

Cut about a 1/4 cup of ginger root and turmeric root into small pieces and boil in filtered water until water turns rust color. If you don't have fresh ginger and turmeric root you can add 1 teaspoon each of powdered ginger and turmeric to boiled water.

Fill 2 mugs up with the boiled ginger and turmeric water

Juice one lemon and split evenly between mugs

Add 1 tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar to each mug

Add 1 tsp. of Raw Honey to each mug

Add ice if desired

Enjoy with your loved ones!
